Founder of Her Career Lab
Like many professionals, I once believed that loyalty and hard work were enough to guarantee career growth. I spent years giving my best, adding degrees to my resume, and waiting for the recognition I thought would naturally follow. Instead, I found myself overlooked and questioning if I was capable for more.
The turning point came when I stopped waiting for permission and started positioning myself differently. By learning how to share my wins, communicate outcomes instead of tasks, and brand my expertise, I unlocked new opportunities that led to greater pay, recognition, and balance for my family.
